|Something for everyone as CommBank returns to AgQuip in 2016|
Continuing a tradition that started in 1981, Commonwealth Bank returns as a major sponsor of AgQuip in 2016. AgQuip offers farmers the opportunity to celebrate their farming achievements of the past year, while networking and investigating the innovations they’d like to adopt for the year ahead.
“Commonwealth Bank has been supporting regional Australia for over 100 years, and our continued support of Australia’s premier industry field day reflects our ongoing commitment to the agriculture industry and regional businesses,” said Tim Harvey, Commonwealth Bank’s General Manager Regional and Agribusiness Banking New South Wales.
“Our team looks forward to AgQuip each year to showcase and celebrate the latest innovations in farming equipment and ideas, and share new ideas and inspiration,” Mr Harvey said.
The Women in Business High Tea will once again be hosted by CommBank, and will bring together some of Australia’s leading agribusiness women to network and share ideas.
“Returning for the third year is the successful Young Farmers Forum, where today’s farmers of the future come together to network and share their wealth of ideas for the industry’s future,” Mr Harvey said.
The AgQuip Opening Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 17 August in conjunction with the Brownhill Cup announcement at the CommBank stand.
“Sustainability and innovative practices are crucial for our industry to continue to thrive and succeed and we’re pleased to continue to support The Brownhill Cup – a significant sustainable initiative and one of the highest accolades in the industry.”
The CommBank stand is located at K-L 21-22 with three full service ATMs also located on site.
