TOOWOOMBA farmer Trevor Muller has no hesitation in nominating his favourite tractor.
"That would be the first tractor we went farming with, the 730," Mr Muller said.
"I would spend 14 hours a day for two weeks straight pulling an 18 disc plough.
"At end of two weeks we would have ploughed 750 acres [304 hectares] using two tanks of fuel a day."
That distinctive two-cylinder 50 drawbar horsepower model is just one of 45 restored John Deere tractors which will be auctioned on Saturday.
Mr Muller will also auction a number of other both restored and unrestored tractors representing several brands in addition to tractor related paraphernalia.
The collection has been gathered and restored over than past 35 years.

"We actually acquired four tractors we thought we would like to restore when we were still at Cecil Plains," Mr Muller said.
"But we never had the time then.
"It was only when we retired to Toowoomba that we were able to start work on those tractors."
The first tractors restored were three John Deeres – an 830, a 720, and a Model D – as well as a Farmall A.
While many of the tractors were found hidden away on farms, other were rescued from scrap metal yards.
The love of collecting also took Mr Muller and his wife Betty to the US is search of rare and unusual John Deere machines.
One of the more unusual machines is a John Deere Lindeman, a tracked tractor.
Mr Muller said it had been a difficult decision to sell the collection.
"It's damned annoying," Mr Muller said. "Age and arthritis are no fun at all."
