DARLING Downs farmer St.John Kent, Coondarra, Jimbour, has bought the nearby mixed farming property Juan for $560,000 at a Ray White Rural auction in Dalby this morning.
The 250-hectare (617-acre) freehold property located 35km north of Dalby has a home, sheds, cattle yards, silos, a bore and two dams. Juan also has 100ha of contoured country.
Some eight parties registered to bid on the property.
Meanwhile, the Kulpi district property Wonga Lodge remains on the market after it was passed in on an auctioneer’s bid of $900,000 at the same auction in Dalby this morning.
The 132ha (325 acre) farm in two freehold titles located east of Dalby was offered with an 80ha wheat crop.
Improvements include a five bedroom home, sheds, yards, silos, a bore and seven dams.
