ROMA agents penned a total of 4166 head of cattle at today's store sale.
It was a very mixed quality yarding with patchy rainfall across the Maranoa helping the better quality light steers and heifers attract solid restocker buyer demand.
In some early sales, G&K Ladbrook, Bulah, Yuleba, sold 460kg Brangus-cross steers for 194c/kg to return $894/head.
D, A, and R Mackay, Beau View, Wallumbilla, sold 501kg Santa-cross steers to 192c/$963.
S&M Russell, Wodonga, Mungalalla, sold 195kg Charbray steers to 192c/$375.
G&G Emery, Wyena, Wallumbilla, sold 236kg Santa-cross steers to 190c/$449.
R&S Pether, Roseneath Station, Longreach, sold 250kg Angus-cross steers to 186c/$466.
