THERE was plenty of bulldust, boots, horns and a healthy dose of rivalry at the annual St Brendan's College rodeo which kicked off on the weekend.
The college rodeo saw students of Brisbane's Nudgee College head north to challenge their longtime rivals in the annual rodeo grudge match.
There was huge hype surrounding the rodeo as the school boys battled it out in an ultimate clash of teenage country superiority.
Nudgee won the challenge rodeo trophy last year and were again looking to re-claim victory, but it wasn't to be, when St Brendan's took charge racking up more points on the day in a convincing win.
Nudgee College makes the journey north from Brisbane every year to take part in the rodeo, which is also associated with the Professional Bull Riders PBR competition.
The adults' competition followed the school boys clash on Saturday night.
