THE inaugural Australian Pastoral Company Muster held at Caldervale, Tambo, on the weekend has been heralded an outstanding success and is set to become an annual event.
Ben Hewitt representing the 2016 champion cattle company – the Hewitt Cattle Company summed up the weekend when he said: “We look forward to being involved in the future and are excited to one day be able to host the event on one of our properties.”
“Thanks must go to the Hughes and Rains families as well as all those involved with the Georgina Pastoral Company for being such wonderful hosts.”
He paid tribute to ground announcer Neil Walker, Millungera, Julia Creek, and judges Damien Kerr, Mareeba, Pip Fearon, Ivanhoe, Tambo, and Scott McCormack.
“Special mention must go to the catering staff and those organising this weekend as the hospitality was amazing,” he said.
