NEGOTIATIONS are continuing on the 7690 hectare (19,000 acre) Eidsvold breeder property Telemark, which has been listed for sale at $3 million. The freehold property was passed in for $2.7 million at a Ray White Rural auction in Brisbane on Friday.
Located 63km west of Eidsvold, the property has comfortably carried a minimum of 700 breeders during last 16 years.
Telemark is described as silverleaf and narrowleaf ironbark country with spotted gum ridges. It is has been extensively developed on the creeks and hollows with about 40 per cent of the property white on vegetation map. There are native pastures with stylos throughout the property.
There are 12 main paddocks which are all linked to yards via laneways. Most of the internal fencing is new in past eight years.
Telemark also features an interlinked watering system with bores and dams. All of the paddocks have multiple watering points.
Other improvements include a four bedroom homestead, an air-conditioned school room and cottage, machinery/workshop shed, and two sets of yards.
