After recently launching their new range of permanent cattle yards at Agquip in Gunnedah New South Wales this year, Clipex has been gaining significant traction in the industry for their permanent yard systems which are packed full of safety features and innovation.
From the outset, the Australian family owned company’s goal was to make permanent yardsets more affordable and achievable for Australian farmers without compromising on the quality and integrity of the product.
Clipex permanent yard specialists John Linnan said he’s been in the industry for 30 years, and from his experience, providing a farmer with a yard system that is both safe and affordable is what it's all about.
“With the patented features Clipex yards offer, such as their durability, strength and most importantly their full automation capacity means I can offer farmers the best choice on the market.
“The HD Cattle Work Area System which was constructed and displayed at Agquip wowed many prospective clients with its automatic features and ease of operation which enable them to reduce cattle handling to a one or two person job.
“The Cattle Work Area system boasts improved efficiency and convenience with its ability to be controlled with the palm of your hand and features patented force tub doors which significantly reduces the risk of injury by removing the need to be in with the cattle.”
Packed full of features the HD Cattle Work Area system includes the HD 2000 series crush with automatic weighing and drafting capabilities, a three-way draft module and six metre permanent ramp which is all hooked up to a remote system so you are able to operate the tub, slide gate, crush and draft all at the press of a button.
“Weighing and drafting an impressive 300 head per hour, the system is built to last a lifetime and is designed to reduce stress on stock and increase the safety of users.
“With OH&S being high on the minds of everyone these days, the ability to be separate from the cattle and operate the equipment remotely really is a big consideration.”
Ashley Olsson Jr, is responsible for designing a lot of the machinery in their manufacturing plant and also contributes to a lot of the company’s success by listening to end users and implementing their ideas.
“That’s part of why we’ve grown so fast, we’re constantly getting feedback from end users and trying to improve.
“Because we’ve designed and built our own manufacturing plant from the ground up, we’re able to get in and make changes to our production line really quickly.
“Being a family owned company has been a big factor in the success of Clipex.
“I know our family has been extremely fortunate with the fact that we all get along and have different skillsets that work well together.”
