THE highly productive 479 hectare (1183 acre) “beast to the acre” Mary River property Connemara is sure to generate plenty of interest in the run up to its on-site auction by Gary Dun Property Sales on March 3.
Located on Aherns Road at Conondale and 15km from Maleny, the property is in 15 freehold titles and boasts a 1500mm a year average annual rainfall.
The property is described as 84ha of absolutely top class Mary River alluvial soils. The predominantly kikuyu country also has large expanses of high quality upper level river country and small sections of hilly timbered but productive country.
Estimated to run 600 600kg livestock units and a beast to the acre on the improved country, the former dairy farm is being offered on a walk in, walk out basis including more than 500 cattle.
Connemara features a very impressive four bedroom low-set homestead with wide shady verandahs set in landscaped surrounds. Connemara will be auctioned on-site at 787 Aherns Road, Conondale, on March 3. If not sold on a walk in, walk out basis, it will be offered on a bare basis. Cattle numbers will be finalised closer to the sale date.
