Police are continuing to appeal for assistance to locate a man who escaped police custody in Emerald on Tuesday afternoon.
Around 5pm, officers were transporting the 17-year-old from court to the watchhouse when he broke free.
The man ran into a neighbouring back yard on Yamala Street a stole a white Nissan Navara.
The vehicle was subsequently located at Springsure around 9pm on Tuesday.
He is described as Caucasian, 180 centimetres tall with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.
The whereabouts of the man is unknown.
He has connections with the Gold Coast, however may still be in the Springsure area.
Anyone who has seen the man or has further information is urged to contact police.
