The two day conference is a showcase of current developments in agricultural engineering and the latest research findings, said the DLG.

Participants interested in emerging markets and economies can attend “Ag Machinery International 2017.”

The series of conferences focus on Europe, Africa and Asia with regard to current challenges and opportunities for mechanisation.

The DLG said current technologies and trends on display will ensure a sustainable productivity increase in agriculture.

Agritechnica is a truly global fair with about 60 percent of participants being foreign exhibitors.

DLG said the high level of foreign participation is a clear signal of agricultural companies further increasing their global orientation by developing global links.

“They want to use the platform of Agritechnica in a targeted way to open up new markets,” they said.

The event has a focus on innovation with manufacturers planning development cycles and launches around the event, ensuring that attendees see technologies at Agritechnica first.

“This will create a unique opportunity for visitors to compare systems and offers in one place” they said.

To further enhance the international visitors experience a tailored “match and meet” contact exchange is provided by organised to those who register online.

A young farmers forum and networking event is also on the agenda, though tickets are limited.

Agritechnica will be held in Hanover from 12 to 18 November 2017. Information on tickets, tours and agendas can be found on the Agritechnica website.
