Free ATV helmets in September

A free Shark helmet with every utility ATV sold during September.

Dr John McVeigh MP, the Federal member for the seat of Groom in regional Queensland, has added his support to the ATV industry’s newest safety initiative.

“The evidence is irrefutable; wearing a helmet when riding your ATV or SSV could save your life if an accident occurs,” Dr McVeigh said.

In launching the free helmet offer at the Queensland Beef Expo in Toowoomba today, Dr McVeigh said he fully supported the industry’s strong desire to encourage helmet use among the thousands of farmers, graziers and pastoralists who use ATVs and SSVs every day.

Trimble adds new partners to Vantage network in NSW

TRIMBLE has announced two new Australian distribution partners to the Vantage distribution network.

Vantage is styled as a global network of independent experts that provide growers and dealers with precision agriculture support.

NFS Agribusiness based in Gunnedah on the Liverpool Plains, will distribute Vantage NSW servicing central and northern NSW.

BMS LaserSat which has locations across Australia will house Vantage NEA. 

Vantage NEA will service Northern New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territories and Tasmania.

Both dealers have been long standing Trimble distributors.

Vantage NSW and Vantage NEA join previously announced Vantage Western Australia, situated in Perth.

The company says that combined, their geographical reach covers three-quarters of the farms and crop land across the country.

Honda release CB500X 

HONDA have launched the 2017 edition of the CB500X. 

Features include LED lighting, adjustable front forks and a new lightweight exhaust system.

Honda said the CB500X is a versatile motorcycle that delivers comfort features including an upright riding position and room to shift. 

Modifications to the engine include displacing 471cc liquid-cooled parallel cylinders with dual overhead cams.

Honda said the electronic programmed fuel injection would increase fuel range and decrease running costs. 

The manufacturer list price is $7999 and the model is available in Candy Rosy Red and Sword Silver Metallic.

THE all new Mahindra 6060 small utility tractor is now available in Australia.

The utility style 6060 is available in both 2WD and 4WD and has 45 Kilowatt of power (60 horsepower).

The water cooled direct injection diesel engine features a 4 cylinder 3533cc displacement and has single lever PTO engagement.

The tractor is priced at $24,990 plus freight and dealer pre-delivery.
