WITH spring in full swing and some rain fronts across the country, it might be time to harvest the house-block.
New on the market is the Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro Series LX 42 EFI lawn tractor.
According to the manufacturer the LX 42 EFI delivers high levels of power, control and durability and is suitable for big jobs, such as unruly house blocks.
The model has a 679cc Electronic Fuel Injected engine that the manufacturer says will result in superior fuel efficiency and reduced maintenance.
Other features include a 107cm (42”) side discharge cutting deck, auto traction control and hydrostatic transmission.
The LX 42 EFI has a combination of auto traction control through the auto locking rear-diff and multi-trac tyres, which the manufacturer said will make a difference in safety, control and manoeuvrability.
The manufacturer states that the patented washing system will maintain the tractor in optimum condition, allowing the user to plug the garden hose into an inlet to wash the deck and blades.
The LX 42 EFI comes with a mulch kit as standard and the cutting deck is controlled by electronic PTO.
