Hannam Vale’s success as the Legendairy Capital of NSW has been showcased in a new video launched by Dairy Australia.

The video highlights the community spirit of Hannam Vale and recognises the contribution and hard work of those who made the coveted regional title a reality.

Dairy Australia’s community project manager Natasha Busbridge said from dairy farmers to community members, this video highlighted the vital role the dairy industry plays in communities like Hannam Vale.

“Our visit to Hannam Vale coincided with their annual dairy farmer’s picnic, this event is a great example of the importance of community support for the local dairy industry,” Ms Busbridge said.

The town received a $2500 community grant to upgrade the picnic area of their community reserve.

The Legendairy Regional Capitals for 2017 are:

  • Poowong (Gippsland)
  • Cohuna (Murray Region)
