Years of trialing the right varieties by Vitahemp founder Andrew Kavasilas, Nimbin, will result in 400ha being planted this season in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Half the new production will sprout west of the Richmond Range on the Upper Clarence.
All imported product will be irradiated, benefiting domestic consumption.
