Last chance sheep sales

Special store sheep sales are fast running out for this spring selling season with two of the final three markets for 2017 listed for this week.

Following its high successful Firstcross ewe sale Corowa agents will conduct on Thursday its final store sale for 2017 with 7000 Merino and Crossbred ewes and 1500 mixed sex lambs listed.

At the completion of selling at the Corowa saleyards, Elders will disperse,- on property- the “classed-in” Merino breeding flock of Pat Drum, Eagles Nest, Balldale, boasting 20 years of Borambil-bloodlines.

Then Friday at Wycheproof, Elders will muster – in its final sale for 2017 – some 17,000 store sheep comprising 3500 Crossbred ewes and ewe lambs, 8,000 young and breeding Merino ewes along with 6500 wethers, wether lambs and crossbred lambs.
