Around 90 people enjoyed the hospitality of the Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise platinum Christmas party, held last Friday at the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba.

New state opposition leader, Deb Frecklington, was one of the speakers on the night, along with Toowoomba Regional Council mayor, Paul Antonio, and TSBE’s executive chairman, Shane Charles.

The group has been busy planning a range of events for 2018, including its fifth annual golf day in February, at Toowoomba’s Middle Ridge golf club.

TSBE describes it as offering a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for executives, business owners and people working in industry to network and form relationships outside of the office.

Registration for a team of four players includes lunch on arrival, post game canapes, drinks during the day, and green fees.

The story TSBE’s Christmas cheer first appeared on Queensland Country Life.
