The telecommunications regulator ACMA is recommending the Communications Minister auction access to spectrum for mobile broadband, which wireless internet providers say risks services to regional businesses.

Regional businesses could lose their commercial lifelines, if federal government adopts recommendations from the telecommunications regulator.
