The Burrumbuttock Hay Runners have made their journey to Cunnamulla in Queensland.

Six Southern Highlands truck drivers hit the road for the 1400 journey on January 25.

Jacob Rofe, Joel Lidgard, Ben Shaw, father and son Mark and Riley Ferguson, Mike Hudson and Peter Shaw joined a convoy of more than 120 other trucks from NSW, Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania.

The Highland drivers transported more than 400 hay bales, as well as toiletry goods, garden mulch and books to families in need.

Mr Rofe has sent in these photos from the road.

Donations can still be made to the Rotary Club of Sydney.

The club handles all monetary donations on the Burrumbuttock Hay Runner’s behalf.
