PERFECTION Fresh is targeting the school lunchbox market, teaming up with “lunchbox queen” Amy Whiteford, from Healthy Little Foodies to promote Perfection Qukes.
The strategy will aim to share tried and tested lunchbox hacks to help get kids off to school with a healthy lunch that won’t come home half-eaten.
Perfection Qukes are a special variety of miniature, snack-sized, cucumbers making them suited to children.
Production peaks from October to May with most cucumbers coming from NSW, South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.

“Preparing lunch boxes can become an arduous task and with more than 150 lunch boxes a year to pack for each child, it’s no wonder it feels like Groundhog Day,” Ms Whiteford said.
“And it’s not just lunch. There’s the added pressure of nailing crunch and sip, nude food days and creating Insta-worthy magic from what’s in the fridge.
“I always freeze as much as I can for an easy grab and pack in the morning and I stock-up on fruit and veggies that require no prep and are tough enough to survive a school bag battering, like Perfection Qukes, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, mini capsicums, grapes and berries.
“With solutions at the ready, the lunch boxes will be half-packed before you know it, leaving some time for a creative treat, a cute note, or even better, a cup of coffee for mum.”
