AFTER 20 years of ownership, the Neubecker families are selling their Takilberan property Stony Range.
The 782 hectare (4405 acre) freehold property in the Gin Gin district is being sold to finalise a family partnership, as part of a succession plan.
Stony Range is described as being equally suited as a breeder or backgrounding operation, estimated to carry 450 cows and calves or 650 mixed cattle respectively.
Located about 24km north of Gin Gin and 75km south of Miriam Vale, the country consists of prime alluvial creek flats through to volcanic basalt slopes and plateaus through to timbered forest country. The property is described as being an excellent balance of country.
Stoney Range is very well watered by permanent creeks and numerous springs located at different parts of the property. There are also three equipped bores and an unequipped bore servicing storage tanks and troughs, a large natural lagoon and dams.
Improvements include two sets of very well shaded timber yards, both with vet crushes, a machinery and storage shed, mustering hut and molasses tank. There are 11 main paddocks and numerous holding paddocks.
The property is being offered for sale through an offers to purchase process closing on March 21.
