A yarding of 300 head saw a firm to easier market at the Miriam Vale monthly sale on February 20.
Buyers came from Callide Dawson Valley, Maryborough with strong local support.
The yarding mainly consisted of No 7 and 8 steers and heifers.
Frank and Joan Noonan, Miriam Vale sold No 7 grey Brahman steers for $890.
Meanwhile Errol Blows sold a pen of Brahman cross weaner steers for $870.
Lex and Gavin Cawthray, Taronga, Miriam Vale sold a pen of Brahman cross weaner steers for $800.
Smaller type weaner steers sold from $600 to $720.
Keith Bates, Bororen sold a pen of Brahman cross heifers No 7 for $880, while the Dawson family, Rosedale sold Braford heifers No 7 for $825.
Phil and Kay Spencer, Miriam Vale sold a pen of red Brahman heifers for $730.
Most smaller heifers bought from $450 to $500 and cows and calves topped at $860.
