RURAL retailer PB Agrifood has won the Pacific Seeds Central and Southern Downs Agent of the Year Award for its service to the seed industry.
Seed manager David Ridgway was at the Pacific Seeds Agents and Industry Christmas Party at the Toowoomba Showgrounds last Thursday to collect the award.
PB Agrifood is headquartered in Toowoomba and is a trader in selected pulses, grains and planting seed.
The Farmer of the Year Award went to the Bligh family for their ongoing dedication to the advancement of cropping.
Simon Potter from Pursehouse won the Gold Medal Award for his outstanding personal contribution to the industry.
The Trial Co-Operator of the Year Award was scooped by grower Warren Folker for his high level of participation in Pacific Seeds’ trials.
Landmark was recognised for its work in the industry, winning the Agent Excellence Award, and Killarney Co-Op was presented with the Excellence in Service Award.
The High Flyer Award was presented to Varys Brookstead, and the Agent Service Award went to Olsens Produce.
Elders won the Field Service Award, and NFW took home the Farmer Service Award.
The Grower Focus Award went to RAFF Group, and the Customer Focus Award went to Felton Produce.
Pursehouse and Norco Rural both earned Achiever Awards.
