A solid crowd of people waited eagerly for the announcement of the supreme cattle exhibit at this year’s Bundaberg Regional Show, proving why it continues to draw solid numbers of exhibitors.
The broad ribbon eventually went to the Whitaker family from Mundubbera for the near picture-perfect Whitaker Miss Pearl.
John and Liz Manchee, Manchee Agriculture, Narrabri, NSW were the special guest judges for the stud cattle competition.
Crowds made the most of the light breezes and streaming sunshine on people’s day today (Thursday) at the Bundaberg Regional Show.
It was the 123rd Bundaberg Regional Show with three days of entertainment and information continuing until tomorrow.
The usual drawcards such as the woodchopping, sideshow alley and the grand parade had show-goers fixed, while this year’s event also included a young farmers competition.
A rodeo on the Friday will cap off a full program.
