TEAMS from eight of the nation's biggest cattle operations assembled at the Hughes family's Caldervale Station, Tambo, for the inaugural Australian Pastoral Company Muster.
Previously known as the RM Williams Longreach Muster, the "new look" event attracted riders from Consolidated Pastoral Company, AACo, Australian Country Choice, Australian Cattle and Beef Holdings, Georgina Pastoral Company, Hewitt Cattle Company, Longreach Pastoral College and NAPCO.
The two days of competition featured an under 21 and open stockman's challenge, poley buckjump and campdraft - all designed to showcase the skills of the northern pastoral industry.
It was a memorable weekend - made so by the spirit of competition and the hospitality of Caldervale managers Angus and Kimberley Rains and the Georgina Pastoral Company team.
Queensland Country Life was there to capture the action.
