IT is the annual event that boosts the population of the small town of Weengallon by six times its normal rate and this year’s Pink Ladies Day proved nothing short of a success.
More than 600 ladies from across the state filled Weengallon for a day of shopping, food and plenty of socialising.
The day, themed as a fiesta, raised money for a local breast care nurse position and the Olive McMahon Lodge in Toowoomba.
The first three auction pieces, all artworks, made between $1500 and $1700 alone.
Be sure to grab a copy of tomorrow’s paper to see who attended.
