You couldn't wipe the smile off the face of Judi Cullen who won QCL’s ‘Win a Pen of Santa Steers’ competition.
The Warwick based cattle producer was very excited when she was told of her win and said it was amazing only one entry in the competition won the big prize.
“I’m also really happy money is being raised for the Royal Flying Doctor Service as well,” Ms Cullen said.
The ‘Win a Pen of Santa Steers’ were sold on Wednesday by GDL, Dalby at Dalby Saleyards and made to 299c/kg for 687kg to return $2057/head with half the proceeds going to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The steers were purchased by Teys Australia.
RFDS community fundraising co-ordinator Sarah-Jayne Curry said the donation will help to continue providing services to the furthest corners of the outback.

The Santa Gertrudis steers were donated by the Western Downs Santa Gertrudis Group who hold their inaugural sale at Dalby Saleyards on September 16, fed by Kurrawong Feedlot and transported by Martin's Stock Haulage.
