As passionate sheep breeders and farmers, Noel and Kathy Hunter have run a sheep breeding and grazing enterprise in the Willaura district for the past 40 years.
Taking a step toward scaling back their sheep enterprise they will disperse 1600 scanned in lamb ewes on AuctionsPlus, next Tuesday.
Russell Macgugan, Australian Wool Network (0438 314 390) says the Hunter merino ewes are productive wool cutters and their First-cross ewes are medium framed, fertile breeders.
Their lines include: 443 1st-cross, 2.5 -years (167 scanned with twins, 272 singles) along with 580 1.5 year-old 1st-cross, (265 twins and 315 singles).
Two mixed age Merino lines offer: 336 joined to B/L and 150, joined to Dorsets.
