Rockhampton Grammar School headmaster Dr Phillip Moulds said the school is “glad” to be involved with Beef Australia 2018, and to help support children in the region.
RGS had close to 650 students attend the event this year, including many of the 220 students who’re involved in agricultural programs at the school.
Dr Moulds said the event provided a great opportunity to celebrate the RGS community, and for staff to talk parents of past, current and prospective RGS students.
“Beef offers a great platform to generate interest in RGS, and allows us to show parents what the school has to offer, which was enhanced by the virtual reality tour of the school which was available on-site for people to experience,” he said.
RGS held a meet and greet function during Beef providing past and present students, and their parents a chance to catch-up.
