FROM the latest red meat masterpieces by executive chefs to supermarkets of the future, free trade agreements and live exports, if it affects beef, sheepmeat and goat production it was on the agenda at a big industry event in Canberra last week.
The four-day gathering of representatives from throughout the red meat supply chain, organised by Meat and Livestock Australia and called Red Meat 2018, attracted more than 800 people.
Industry leaders and experts, ranging from MLA’s international business managers to beef stalwart David Crombie, and even Federal Agriculture Minister David Littleproud expressed their view and shared their knowledge.
