The NSW seat of Macquarie could be set for a recount with the margin of votes narrowing to just 40 between the Liberal Party and Labor.
The Australian Electoral Commission website on Monday evening showed Liberal candidate Sarah Richards ahead of Labor incumbent Susan Templeman.
About 90 per cent of votes have been counted.
If the margin of votes between the first and second candidates is less than 100 votes after preferences are distributed, a full recount is conducted.
Macquarie and the Queensland seat of Lilley are the only two seats remaining on the AEC's too-close-to-call list, despite Labor claiming victory for the sunshine state seat.
Labor is relying on ABC election analyst Antony Green's election calculator, which has called the seat for its candidate Anika Wells.
The retiring Wayne Swan left his seat of Lilley to be contested by first-time Labor candidate Ms Wells.
The latest results show Prime Minister Scott Morrison on track for a majority of 77 seats.
Labor has 66 seats, with the possibility of 67, and there are six crossbenchers.
The Tasmanian seat of Bass was taken off the too-close-to call list on Monday evening, with Liberal candidate Bridget Archer 701 votes ahead of Labor incumbent Ross Hart.
There are only about seven per cent of votes yet to be counted.
