Sara Park Angus stud sold 28 of 38 bulls offered to average $4650, reaching a top of $6500 at the Glen Innes stud's 18th annual sale on Friday.
The highest priced bull, Sara Park 14N by Booroomooka Evident H594 from a Lawsons Swagman dam sold to volume buyer Klerkness Pastoral, Bundarra, which took home seven Sara Park sires.
The unregistered bull presented on sale day with the highest intra muscular fat percentage of the draft, at 7.5pc, weighing 902 kilograms with 42 centimetre scrotal circumference, 23mm and 14mm rump and rib fat with 127 square centimetres of eye muscle area.
Auctioneer John Settree described stud principal Herb Duddy's draft as "real cattleman's bulls", thick and square.

Tim and Peter Alt, Glen Innes, paid $6000 for Sara Park Federal N60 by Waitara Pio Federal F73 which presented at 962kg with 43cm scrotal, 22mm and 14mm rump and rib fat, 126sq cm EMA and 7pc IMF.
CQ Pastoral, with property on the Upper Clarence and Macleay, bought five bulls with bids flagged by Mark Haywood, Kempsey, under instruction from property manager Malcolm Lloyd, including Sara Park Fever Pitch N20 by Raff Fever Pitch J64 for $4000. The 892kg bull scanned at 6.7pc IMF with 43cm scrotal, 16mm and 10mm rump and rib fat with 127sq cm EMA.
Repeat clients Bob and Maree Austen, Chambigne via Grafton and Glen Innes, bought two bulls including Sara Park Evident by Booroomooka Evident, with 7pc IMF for $5000. The bull presented at 860kg with an equal highest scrotal of 44cm and 23mm and 14mm rump and rib fat.
