There were 412 head of cattle sold at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday. With the continuing dry, a plainer yarding of cattle were on offer. Cows, feeders, quality weaners and veal held firm, while younger and plainer cattle were easier.

Oh Corral Enterprises, Woolmar, sold Droughtmaster male calves for $590 and heifers for $515.

K and N Stanton, Neurum, sold a line of Charbray vealer heifers for $560. Patricia Ashton, Harlin, sold Droughtmaster steer calves for $540 and heifers for $460. BBMD Developments, Kilcoy, sold Santa heifer calves for $475.
