A COW that hit the right "show form" at the right time has appealed to judge Todd Wilson, Tamworth, NSW, and claimed the tricolour ribbon for senior champion Jersey cow.
Five-year-old Nyowee Rose 55, exhibited by Andrew and Angela Koch, Moculta, SA, had the standout udder from the senior classes to Mr Wilson.
"It's in the best show form, and there is a tremendous bloom to the udder," he said.
Mr Koch said Rose was bought from the Nyowee stud, Mount Compass, SA, as a 15-month-old and had stood out in the paddock.

A "quality mammary system" also set intermediate champion Ashtaney Floodgate Tinsel, from the Koches, above the competition.
Mr Wilson said the three-year-old winner had the best udder of the intermediate group.
"It's so textured, soft and silky, with a foreudder just welded on there," he said.
Reserve intermediate champion was Ashtaney Tequila Perfect, also from the Koch family.
Mr Koch said he was pleased with how the intermediate cows had presented.
"It augurs well for the future," he said.
The juvenile champion, which will form the basis of the new stud of 11-year-old Shae Tweddle, Glencoe, SA, was yearling class winner Merseybank Tequila Song.
Mr Wilson said this was a heifer he "couldn't go past".
"It catches the eye and carries itself tremendously," he said.
"It showed the most style, and is so balanced and blended throughout."
Reserve juvenile champion was Ashtaney Viral Asha, shown by the Koch family.
