Heralding the release of the brand new T6 series, the New Holland T6.175 Auto Command Blue Power Edition turned heads at recent field days across Australia with its distinctive blue metallic paint job and top of the line features.
New Holland product segment manager for mixed farming and livestock Ben Mitchell said the brand new T6 line-up would appeal to a wide range of customers.
"The new T6 will slot perfectly into the market alongside our proven T6000 range," he said.
"There are five horsepower categories available in two transmission offerings, four of the four-cylinder models and a six-cylinder model at the top, so we are catering for a wide range of customers."
Mr Mitchell said the T6 Auto Command transmission models would suit contractors and growers looking for the highest level of technology available.
"It features New Holland exclusive Auto Command CVT transmission, electronic remote valves and our advanced Joystick for precise front-end loader control through our electronic mid-mount valves, he said.
"With the addition of ISOBUS III the Auto Command tractor can be controlled by implements such as the New Holland Round Baler equipped with the IntelliBale feature.
"The round baler tells the tractor when to stop, eject the bale, and move off again, with the simple press of a button - automating a repetitive process saving operator fatigue and increasing efficiencies."
Mr Mitchell said the new T6 Dynamic Command models featured a twin-input shaft transmission.
"As you step up through the speeds, the next gear is 'pre-selected' on the corresponding odd or even shaft, so it offers a smooth seamless change," he said.
"In effect, it drives like our CVT model, but has the operating features of a semi-powershift. It offers you the best of both worlds."
Mr Mitchell said the T6 lineup featured full LED lighting as a standard and a wider wheelbase compared to the T6000 range.
"Many of the features on the T6 have been inspired by its bigger brother, the well renowned T7 Series," he said.
Mr Mitchell said the T6.175 Auto Command Blue Power Edition was the top model of the range, signalled by its distinctive metallic blue paint job and leather upholstery.
