THE Langenhoven family company Rallen Australia has settled Tanumbirini Station and Forrest Hill Station for $70 million.
JLL Agribusiness in conjunction with Colliers International brokered the deal on behalf of Thames Pastoral Company on a walk-in-walk-out basis that included about 36,500 cattle.
Tanumbirini Station is located on the Carpentaria Highway 140km east of Daly Waters, while Forrest Hill station is 40km north of Daly Waters on the Stuart Highway.
Tanumbirini Station (500,100 hectares/1.2 million acres) and Forrest Hill Station (59,270 hectares/146,459 acres) had been progressively developed in recent years by Thames Pastoral Company.
Capital projects primarily included the expansion of water infrastructure, resulting in an increase in carrying capacity over the two holdings.
Rallen Australia already owns the 376,000ha (929,116 acre) Kalala Station near Daly Waters as well as McMinn Station (81,000ha/200,155 acre) and the adjoining Big River Station (70,800ha/174,950 acre).
