Brett Hosking, Grain Growers chairman, is urging the government to take China to the World Trade Organisation for its hefty tariffs on Australian barley.

GRAINS industry peak body Grain Growers is urging the Federal Government to take China to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) over China's decision to impose harsh tariffs on Australian barley for alleged dumping into the Chinese market by Aussie exporters.

Gregor Heard is ACM's national grains industry reporter, based in Horsham, Victoria. He has a wealth of knowledge surrounding the cropping sector through his 15 years in the role.
