Future irrigation prices in the southern Murray-Darling Basin will be the focus on a webinar later this month.
The Agriculture Victoria webinar will provide estimates of water allocation prices based on export insights and detailed modelling of key market drivers.
Water market analyst Aither's founding director Chris Olszak and principal consultant Erin Smith will be guest speakers.
Aither has recently produced a detailed report Southern Murray-Darling Basin Water Market - Recent and Future Trends and Drivers for the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
Some findings from this report will be discussed in the webinar.
Information will be presented to assist irrigators to better prepare their farm businesses for the future.
