Ms Hennings, who is studying a Bachelor of Agriculture/Bachelor of Business at the University of New England, said she was thrilled to receive the scholarship.
She also thanked Dairy Australia who will support her Horizon journey.
"It's an honour to receive the scholarship, not only will it open doors and connect me with industry professionals, but I will gain valuable experience in the dairy industry," Ms Hennings said.
"I am passionate about the future of agriculture both domestically and internationally. My major passion is within the cattle industry and I would love to use both my agricultural and business degree to assist producers in meeting their farm goals and improve both business and farm profitability and sustainability."
Mr Jansen, who is studying a Bachelor of Rural Science at the University of New England, said he was delighted to receive the scholarship.
He thanked Meat and Livestock Australia for supporting his time in the Horizon program.
"I grew up on a small beef property just out of Camden, NSW," Mr Jansen said.
"This is what initially sparked my interest in agriculture particularly the Australian beef industry.
"This passion of mine continued to grow throughout school as I participated in many cattle and sheep shows and judging competitions as well as angus youth roundup events.
"I am passionate about the entire Australian red meat industry, with a particular passion for assisting the Australian beef industry to provide the most delicious, nutritious, and sustainable meat to an ever growing population."
Mr Hennings and Ms Jansen will attend a four-day workshop in July focused on leadership and personal development. AgriFutures Australia managing director John Harvey congratulated this year's recipients.
"We are thrilled to welcome our 2021 AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship winners, whose exceptional passion, drive and commitment to agriculture has distinguished them from a talented pool of over 90 applicants," he said.
"It is very exciting to see the quality and diversity coming into our industries."
