National farm machinery distributor Inlon has followed up the launch of the Landini Discovery 75 tractor last year with a 44.7 kilowatt (60 horsepower) model.
The budget-priced Italian tractor is ideal for handling jobs when 55.9kW (75hp) is not required.
A spokesman for Inlon, which is based on the NSW Central Coast, said the new Landini Discovery 60 four-wheel-drive ROPS utility tractor was robust and heavyweight.
The tractor is fitted with a four-cylinder 3.7 litre engine which provides high torque at low revs, he said.
Its base weight is 3150 kilograms without a loader or additional ballast.
The hydraulic three-point linkage lift capacity is 2500kg with a total hydraulic capacity of 67 litres per minute.
Two sets of hydraulic remote outlets are standard providing flexibility when operating hydraulic implements.
Fitted with a 12 speed transmission, the shuttle-shift lever mounted to the operator's left provides easy directional changes, the spokesman said.
The driver's area is roomy and the semi-straddle provides a lower sitting height offering better comfort when operating on sloping ground.
