EARLY estimates for the 2021-22 cropping season are looking pretty good - and so are these images.

EARLY estimates for the 2021-22 cropping season are looking pretty good, to follow last year's bumper season, with forecaster IKON Commodities tipping a figure of 29.5 million tonnes of wheat, nationally - above the long-term historical average.

Despite a dry start in some regions, lockdowns and border closure, frosts, mice and more - farmers have been busy sowing crops in hopes of a good season.

Some good rain bands in late May and early June have also brought some home and will enable more tractors to hit the paddocks in the coming days.

We put out the call for seeding images, and some great shots have flowed through - there is plenty of talented photographers spending time in cabs at the moment.

With seeding still continuing, there is still time to send through your shots and share your view from the cabin.
