A regional retiree plans to share her good fortune after scoring a $60 million Powerball jackpot. The woman from Daylesford, Victoria held the only division one winning entry nationally in the October 5 draw. It's the second-biggest lottery win of 2023 behind a Sydney dad who took out a $100 million jackpot in June. "I'm in a bit of shock at the moment. Oh my god, I can't believe this is happening," the woman said of her win. "My husband is walking around dumbfounded." The woman said the numbers she used in the draw were all special to her, representing the birthdays of her family and friends. And she hopes to use her luck to help others. "I think a lot of charities might benefit - especially those that help disadvantaged children," she said. "This prize will help a lot of people out - it's my main goal."
