SE steers meet solid demand

Steer traders Luke Tranter, Kalangadoo, TDC Penola’s Darren Maney, and Anthony Tranter, Kalangadoo, bought 62 Hereford and Angus steers including Highbury Trading’s 30 Weeran blood Angus steers at $635, looking to turn them over within 12 months at target weights of 630-650kg.

CONTINUING market confidence resulted in a steady steer market at Mount Gambier store cattle sale on Friday, with 2357 steers yarded.
