A SMALLER, good quality yarding that featured a mixture of well-bred pastoral and locally-bred calves sold to very strong competition.
The usual group of agents, feeder and restocker buyers were bolstered by large numbers of prospective buyers in attendance for the store cattle sale and they made their presence felt with prices lifting $30 to $50.
Beltana Station Pty Ltd, sold 49, mostly lightweight Angus and Hereford calves to $380, averaging $280.31.
Triad Transport, Moonta, sold a prime Murray Grey vealer heifer at $645.
