The grand champion Ayrshire cow at International Dairy Week was the first its owner James Dillon had shown at the event from his own breeding.
Mr Dillon, who milks 260 cows at Waaia, Vic, bought the champion Parkville Burdette Katie's mother as a 5-6-month-old at the Midway Park dispersal sale in 2012.
"Her mother is a bit of a favourite, so she is too," he said.
The three-year-old cow impressed judge Blair Weeks, Canada, taking the intermediate championship before winning the champion udder and grand champion awards.
Mr Dillon has been showing at IDW for five years and was thrilled to win with the cow from his own breeding.
"I was over the moon - I was rapt to just get first place in the intermediate," he said.
"To be best udder from a three-year-old class and to win everything else, I am so stoked."
Showing Ayrshires is a hobby for the commercial farmer, whose herd comprises five different breeds as well as crossbreeds.
Cows have to pay their way - with selection based on production components, udders and feet and legs.
"Production is about improving the fat and protein percentage, I am not chasing the big litres," he said.
Mr Weeks said the cow had the best feet and legs and udder of all the animals in the show.
"It has a tremendous mammary system," he said.
