AWI chairman Jock Laurie says better facilities, improved shed design, more learner opportunities and a staggered shearing season could all help address the wool harvesting labour shortage.

Better shearing shed facilities, more opportunities for learners and changes to shearing times could all be factors in building up a more secure shearing work force, Australian Wool Innovation chairman Jock Laurie has said.
