KNOWN for fencing and stockyards, the team at Clipex has started to outshine competitors in the cattle crush and sheep handling sectors of the market too, cutting down times extensively for the Australian farmer, says managing director Ned Olsson.
The latest addition to the Clipex profile, the Sheep Handler was expected to reshape Australia's agricultural industry, Mr Olsson said.
He said the Clipex Sheep Handler was an industry-leading product that was a compact, towable farm implement that featured off-road, independent suspension making it easy to transport.
"When it's ready to use, the drafting and pre-catch section neatly fold out, forming a very impressive handler," he said.
The handler had three electric jacks, allowing simple and easy adjustment.
"While working at the perfect height, there will be no more busting of backs or tiresome labour," he said.
Mr Olsson said the handler was hot-dipped galvanised, with replaceable bushes on all the moving parts, and featured electronics designed and built in Australia.
"With a surprisingly attractive price, it's the best pneumatic valve bank money can buy, but more important is the workflow of the handler," he said.
"The handler features a pre-catch, innovative anti-backing and flap doors that work together with amazing new eye sensor technology that keeps sheep flowing.
"It can also automatically catch sheep with incredible accuracy, has a roll-over tilt function and lift flaps that provide unparalleled access to the animal, all with minimal effort."
The handler came with load bars included, and when used with a suitable scale indicator, would weigh and draft sheep automatically, Mr Olsson said.
He said it would be hard for people to go back to the traditional way of sheep handling after seeing the industry-leading product.
Mr Olsson said Clipex was bringing positive results to those in the industry, with undivided attention to providing better solutions to the way people farm.
"Clipex has also been listening to the needs of its customers and is excited to announce the opening of two new storefronts in Albury and Wagga Wagga after Clipex' successful store opening in Tamworth," he said.
Mr Olsson planned to open the stores soon, which would give customers easier access to a solutions-based service.
