DEUTZ-FAHR hit the spotlight at the company’s dealer conference in Melbourne with the launch of the Agrotron TTV 7250 tractor from the new 7 Series Range.
The Agrotron TTV 7250, which has picked up EIMA International ‘Tractor of the Year 2013’ and ‘Golden Tractor for Design’ awards, pre-sold in Australia before distributors, PFG Australia, had settled on a final price.
Designed for contractors and large scale farming operations, the 207kW Agrotron 7250 makes use of specialised technology which has scaled down the size of the Deutz TCD 6.1-litre common rail tier 4 SCR engine and reduced overall fuel consumption. The engine can also run on biodiesel fuel.
Key elements of the new MaxiVision cab’s ergonomics and superior comfort were developed in close consultation with farmers, contractors and automotive design company Guigiaro Design.
The Agrotron 7250 has continuously variable transmission allowing manual, PTO and automatic operation.
It has a load sensing hydraulic system, a 10-tonne lift capacity and a top speed of 60 kilometres per hour.
At the dealer conference, the SAME Deutz-Fahr Group announced that red SAME tractors will be rebadged for the Australian market and distributed in the familiar Deutz-Fahr green paint by PFG Australia and Deutz-Fahr dealers.
