JOHN Deere have been recognised with an international engineering award for the S700 Series harvester.
Awarded by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers and Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the inaugural JB Davidson award for engineering excellence is named after Jay Brownlee Davidson, widely recognised as the farther of modern agricultural engineering.
John Deere, marketing manager, Matt Badding said the S700 Series was recognised for significant innovations, improved operator comfort and data capabilities for efficient grain harvesting.
Mr Badding said John Deere was honoured to be one of three recipients of the inaugural award.
“The new technologies engineered into every S700 Combine represents the level of innovation that the Society looks for and that provides real value to our customers.”
