Indian tractor giant, Mahindra, continues to roll out new models to the Australian market with the release of the 73 kilowatt - or 100 horsepower - mForce 100P

The mForce 100P is what Mahindra is calling a “premium tractor offering versatility with top-of-the-line performance”.
“It is built to last, with the strength to handle any load a farmer can throw at it,” according to the company.
Satish Chandra, national sales manager, Ag, for Mahindra said they were “excited to be entering the high volume commercial segment of the Australian market.
“The 100P has been on sale in the USA and New Zealand with great success in those markets and it’s great to see it launching here to our Australian customers.”
The Perkins 73kW engine, produces peak torque of 418Nm at 1400 RPM, and is combined with a 32 x 32 power shift transmission with eight creeper speeds.
Road speed is 40 kilometres an hour and a wet multiplate clutch manages the PowerShift and PowerShuttle forward and reverse functions.
The 100P features auto 4WD with auto PTO and a diff lock
Headland turn and reversing is handled via Mahindra’s Turn Up & Back Up feature that lifts the rear implements automatically.
The mForce has 3110kg ball-end linkage lift capacity and a genuine 1100kg SWL, self-leveling loader fitted with a 4-in-1 bucket, giving what Mahindra says is “plenty of bang for your buck when it comes to heavy lifting capacity”.
The outfit comes with 18.4 x 34 rears & 13.6 x 24 radials and weighs in at 3685kg all up.
Electronic lift controls on the rear fender, with raise and lower buttons for linkage add a lick of convenience and a three speed PTO (540 / 750 / 1000 rpm) is selectable from the cabin.
Three remote SCV valves are rigged with a 61.3 litre per minute implement pump and 88lpm total flow.
The loader is fitted with a quick hitch and can be easily installed and removed with just two pins and four quick hydraulic couplers enabling switching from buckets to pallet forks or bale spikes easily.
